Paul Kirchmann is the founder and principal consultant of Kirchmann Consulting, a physical security and facility management consulting firm serving government agencies, private enterprises, and high-risk organizations throughout the United States.

Paul's career in security began in 1982 with the United States Air Force Security Forces, where he served in law enforcement supporting classified operations. Following active duty, he continued his service in the Air Force Reserves from 1986 to 2014, ultimately serving with PACAF Headquarters
Security Forces. Concurrently, he built a distinguished 34-year career in federal civil service, working at the intersection of physical security, emergency management, and infrastructure protection.

 

Over more than four decades, Paul has managed dozens of complex security projects — from designing and installing integrated security systems to leading threat assessments for facilities that demand zero margin of error. His experience spans the full spectrum of physical security, including threat and vulnerability assessments, insider threat mitigation, protection of classified and proprietary information, force protection, and emergency response planning.

 

Paul's approach to consulting is grounded in a simple principle: understand what truly needs to be protected, assess the real threats, and build a mitigation plan that is both effective and achievable within the client's operational and budgetary constraints. He works closely with organizational leadership to translate complex security challenges into clear, actionable strategies.

Beyond his professional career, Paul is deeply committed to service. He has contributed to community projects ranging from the construction of over 50 homes for those in need to the building and management of church facilities, always bringing the same discipline and project management rigor to every endeavor.
